Walt Whitman has become a favorite of mine for the very purpose of me writing this assignment. Whitman was a very liberal gentleman for his day. At a time when political and social stature seemed to define the nation, along comes a man that defies the norm, and settled into his own beliefs of equality and human kindness. More so than any other writer, I believe Walt Whitman rallied for what could be considered a pre-woman’s lib ca...

The Romanticism of Walt Whitman is the epitome of art through verse. Unlike his colleagues, Whitman was more of a literal writer, and had a seemingly rare ability to summarize his interpretations through secular expression. Ridiculed for his use of non-traditional prose, Walt Whitman already had a flare and attitude that went against the grain of society. He was a free-spirit, and his writings exude nothing less than a man endeari...

I didn't grow up with brothers and sisters - being an only child - but, it's as if I took a trip back in time with while reading your piece listening to my friends rant and rave about their siblings. The best part was getting a front row seat when I spent the night so I was able to relate to your poem with no problems. You were very descriptive, and I tried to read it as if I were younger since you were when you wrote it. I understood every bit of it, and was able to follow along. I even had ...
Absolutely AMAZING!!!! Your parents should be very proud - I don't know you, and I am proud of you!! The content of your paper is magnificent, and the only thing I suggest is that you go back and tweak a few grammatical errors. Apart from that your paper speaks truth, and your heart with love, and human kindness. BRAVO!!!
I appreciated the rhyming in your poem very much; however, I am a bit puzzled in some areas. The beauty of interpretation is that there is no wrong answer. I am confused as to whether or not we are speaking of two people, or two people inside one soul. You speak of pain and suffering, and tears. You also speak of Gehenna - Jewish understanding of hell. Is there a struggle of sorts between good and evil? I'd love to understand what the purpose of this piece was for you while creating it. I bel...
Back to the Future is my favorite movie of all time; however, I have to agree with you on this second "installment". For someone that knows the first movie line for line, I can't say I was moved by its predecessor. While the "future" was entertaining, I felt more "at home", and convinced when they were transported back to 1955 to retrace Biff's steps with the infamous Sports Almanac. And, although Marty McFly/Michael J. Fox is my hero, was it necessary that he play his entire family? I though...
