If you've gotten this far you're doing just fine. I like it. It's got a good 'war is hell' feel about it. It may sound like a total cliche but you will know where to go when the time is right. Something will just come to you and you'll know thats where the story is going. Always remember starting is the hardest part. Where you go and where you end up, that's where the fun is in writing
I like this. Love the quirky opening and the whole piece is really sweet but comes with a nice dark undertone. The dialogue between Mr and Mrs James is great. My only criticism if there is one is that I would have liked it to be longer. Excellent.
I like it. But just cause you are in love with darkness it doesn't necessarily suggest that you've never believed in light. In fact I would go so far as to say that if you say you are in love with darkness you must have experienced the light and rejected it.
