I am writing to advise that I have had my first novel published. I appreciate all the reviews and positive things that were said. I had some constructive reviews which I appreciate. Some people here are full of bitterness and spite and need to learn to be constructive…not…excuse my francais – assholes. You will feel better living in a world where writers help each other. Tearing each other down can only lead to further feelings of bitterness. Cheers to all writers. Keep writing. What one person thinks is shit…is gold to someone else.

The Third Annual Canadian Crashed Ice Competition A Gonzo-esque style sojourn into the depths of Fear and Loathing in Quebec City It was closing in on dusk, cold and January, as we barreled the three hundred horsepower Ontario made gas guzzling Dodge Charger down Highway 401 Eastbound from Toronto, destination unknown. That’s not exactly true though...we were heading to Quebec, and I damn well knew it. Hell, it was my idea to go there, but what was waiting for us there, no man could know. Gas...

A Gaijin Drunkard in Tokyo Copyright 2007. Chapter One I had two beers left in my three-foot high Japanese made refrigerator. My now ex-girlfriend Chiori had been here in the apartment all day yesterday with her mother to pick up the rest of her belongings. All I had left in my Tokyo 2DK shoebox apartment was a TV, a small Japanese table, a futon, my guitar and the two beers. We’d been together for almost two years but to be totally honest we were doomed from the beginning. The clash of cultu...

Greetings, I enjoyed your story. I thought the descriptions of action were quite good, but, I had a hard time with the dialogue. I could see what you were getting at, yet, I just could not get into it. I found it to be a bit laboured and not like how people would really speak. If its supposed to be the 70's I dont think that the dialogue would be as old fashioned as it sounds. I am not one to critique grammer and such, thats not my thing. I am more interested in the feel of a story. Don't get...
