The American Dream is not one easily achieved, and with our failing education system, it's getting ever harder to even dream about it. Why is that? Because, sadly enough, the traditional American education is lacking on many levels. Why is that? Why are so many people becoming dispirited and losing their interest in schooling? But let's not be biased here; in this time, there are thousands of brilliant young minds entertaining their educational opporunities and exceeding in levels far beyond...

The cruelest thing a human can do to fellow being is not to rob him, or leave him destitute and broken; instead, it is to break a man's spirit, his hopes and aspirations, and reduce them to a long-forgotten memory. To do that is to kill not a man's life - but a man's soul.

Great dialouge, the formatting was pretty good, but the action scenes tended to be too long. Try to concise them to stop it from disrupting the story.
This is an excellent quote, one I've heard several times before. Isn't it Nietzsche?
It was really good, but some parts were admittedly bland. You should read a couple books, check out some websites, to learn how to write properly. There are a few grammer and spelling errors, but put it through a spell check. The combat is good, as well as the dialouge. Keep it up.
This is another brilliant chapter from this ongoing story of unbelievable fantasy. I mean, this was brilliant to me. The characters are all believable and realistic, and not at all exactly what I would expect in a high-fantasy themed story. It really gives the story depth and moves it along nicely. Good job.
I was surprised by the audacity of the work. What really caught my interest, however, was the protaganist, who struck a nerve of sympathy within me, if that's the proper wording. I found myself really intruiged in the character, which greatly attributed to the movement and pacing of the story. All in all, a really entertaining read.
