I don't like sneakin' around in my head, thinking of encounters I could have had. When I lose myself in the stars, and pull away from where we are, I see the woman I want to be, and independence is calling me. All of the things I want to be, seem so far from where I am now. Can't go on living my life for someone else, Need to pack my bags and go find myself. Life's a long journey, a lesson to be learned. I want to be free and strong... but not all by myself.

This is a beautiful haiku. At first, I thought it was sad. But then, I realized it may as well be happy. Very thought provoking. I hope you fully enjoy your "new" siblings!
Woo, baby! It makes me jealous just wondering who the lucky man was! I like this poem a lot, and I although it's been ages since I've written anything that could be remotely considered erotica, I think this qualifies. Let's face it, what's erotic to a man and a woman are two entirely different creatures! On an editing note: "sang love sonnets to the radiate (should it be 'radiant,' I'm wondering?)"
