Hey, I’m Danny. I write lyrics like..everyday, they tend to be about the same girl but i do try to make sure they’re never similar. I never do 2nd drafts, i view it in the way that the first thing i wrote was personal ‘from the heart’ type thing. So if i edit it, it’s not as personal.
My favorite band is Mcfly. but i’m into anything really. Brand new, TBS, paramore. Ya know the new wave of emo bands!
I support Liverpool Fc. Lyrics, football, friends and lovers are what’s most important to me :)

Living in England i am used to rain and have grown up to hate it, yet through reading this i have come to realise how in some respects it's extremely important. I cannot imagine how it would be to live in hope of rain whether it's simply to feel it or to help the crops. For this reason i am extremely impressed with this poem. It gave a good impression as to how life would be without the rain. Good job.
I really enjoy this peice. It sounds extremely personal. The 'i hate you' finale verse i can imagine a singer singing with great emotion as he spills his feelings to the crowd infront of him. Obviously, it could be better as it does get a bit repetitive but for a first draft i'm impressed.
I thoroughly enjoyed this peice. My only complaints are minor; 1) the use of the word shoddy, i think that's a typical English word? Therefore this may not be a typical transatlantic poem. As Americans etc may not know of the word. My other point 2) is that given how good the poem is, i think perhaps it would have been better without as many rhyming words. I think some work well, but that without a couple of them it would have worked better. Like i said though, minor complains to what is othe...
I do like it. Though, i wanna know the inspiration behind it? I particularly like the line 'I need to be a hero to those who are hopeless' as it sums up what i need atm! Good job.
