I'm not religious at all, but this managed to bring a smile to my face. I can actaully see this on a christian rock ablum of sorts. I'm sure many people would sway along to it.
This is a very strong piece and points out how little has changed over the years. Instead of learning from mistakes the governments of our countries make major ones over and over again. Innocent men and women are still dying for nothing. Very well written and I could agree with the quote more.
This ammused me because it sounds like a typical night in my life even down to the cat asleep next to you. I sympathise.
This is a really amusing piece which made me smile from start to finish. I particularly like the detail of what 'Once upon a time' means to a child. Your description of how this changes over the years is also very funny and I'm sure many readers had visions of the teeth falling etc. Keep up the good work.
If I'm honest I didn't really get this piece, what is so wrong with eating a sandwich? It was amusing in parts which is why i did give it a five, but I think a little more background would help the piece. I realise this probably isn't meant to make much sense.
This is a very well worded piece, it clearly gets across your feelings about love and I'm sure many people will relate to it. Keep up the good work.
This piece had me gripped from the first page it pulls the reader in as you wonder who our character is and why he or she is in a police station in the first place. The jump on page two is confusing, but only seems to add to the charm of this piece. Who is this man? What has he to do with the person on page one? Is this him? It creates many questions. Plus I challenge any woman not to fall in lust with the idea of his flight buddy. Keep up the good work.
Im not sure this is publishable but its certainly amusing. I also love the authors note.
This piece flows well. I like the fact that the word choice is simple, straight to the point. I feel that many people will be able to relate to this. It's both empowering and heartbreaking. Keep up the good work!
The opening of this is both visually horrifying and hysterical. Probably even more so for the males reading. I found myself having to read on and find out how this potentially penis threatening situation turned out! The fact we then learn the fedex man his on his way makes the situation even more humorous. And would you rather a fedex woman? The Jehovah Witnesses were genius! But what we really want to know is, did our beloved character ever manage to break free?
