Dreams are lies Evocative tales our hearts create Dreams are all I'll never know. All the places I wont go They taunt me All I see In my colorless dreams Fragile Shattered before my eyes Before my hands Can close upon them.

I could burn screaming Through the night sky To crash And have it all Instead to cliff's edge Catch myself on the brink To have solid ground crumble And begin to fall, Begin to fall. Who will catch me now? What will stop my descent Fall into Oblivion White angel wings enfold me Inside I feel so small, Feel so small. Place me upon that sad height At a table known in myth To sit upon a throne of hope My glass flowing over with Joy Given rest at last I finally crash into it ...

Why would I tell you my heart breaks When a sweetness whispered heals it anew? How can I tell you I feel you? In my heart, behind my eyes. I can't reach you Only see you. Burning fast Burning high Memories of days gone by On the pyre Where all dreams burn to ash Long since extinguished Still bright Standing in the night Breath freezing on the air To see it burn Cinders crumbling Crushed in angry fists Trampled into the soil Covered now By time and memory All but forgotten Never remembered Ash stained snow And tragedy Trapped beneath the ice

This was incredible. I laughed all the way through it. A little bit Halo, a little bit Hitchhiker's Guide...perfect.

You didn't like this? How? This has all the makings of one of the rarest breeds of Fiction. Western fiction. Guns and horses, gold and whiskey. Revenge and maybe even a little romance. Sure, perhaps it needs a little work here and there. A little spit and polish and this one is well on it's way to a series of stories. Perhaps even a novel.
