While raising my 8 year old granddaughter I have read many books with her, many of which were not this well written. Your story is easy to follow along and provides plenty of imagination as well as a valuable and age appropriate lesson in life. No one likes a bully. This story is well written and easy to take in. Your use of metaphors and scene descriptions makes it easy for the reader to be there watching. I like the way you start the story off and then go back to bring the reader up to speed. The relationship between the characters is a real life relationship and one in which we all wish we had with someone.
