Reviews
Sorry, but I just don't find this poem very good. It doesn't flow smoothly, nor is it a smooth read. Poetry needs to be visually and audibly appealing.
Long poems, at least for me, are already hard to read. If there isn't a clear structure, direction, or even subject from the get go you're going to lose your reader's attention. You lost mine. Sorry if you don't like this review, go ahead and request a refund if you disagree.
I hate poetry, usually, and didn't particularly want to review the poem. You've written an amazing poem that even I could enjoy. I really, really liked it. If I could offer one suggestion, though, it would be to cut it off at "My God, you must be blessed." I really think you should end there. It's powerful, and in my honest opinion, you kind of lose momentum at that point. But it's a perfectly reasonable place to end. Great work. Thank you.
