The steady sound of Clark Newman's alarm clock wrestled him awake despite its nearly broken state across his bedroom. Rising from his bed, Clark rubbed his eyes and stumbled to his feet with his alarm clock now in hand. It was 9:03 and his class at the university across town started at 9:30. He grabbed a pair of pants and a t-shirt atop a pile of a combination of clean and dirty clothes and kicked aside a copy of The Republic as he nearly tripped his way out of his room. Now in his car, he di...

The sunset met the night sky as they sat their fingers intertwined but his heart alone He was silent, gazing at the painting above as the bricks were laid between the red the weight suffocating the blood, slowly killing the one he loved He wanted to yell, to scream in agony but he couldn’t, he wouldn’t He pondered whether he would find it find her, to end the wandering the pale journey for the one he loved He yearned for the end, the end of the journey that brought so much pain and uncertaint...

I remember the sun falling the sand beneath our feet as we watched the light disappear beyond the tide as we said goodbye The hues pouring through our souls tempting us with the beauty of life the sand holding us tight The light losing its fight as we walked through the tide the darkness ending the fight in our eyes

Dark, ominous clouds suffocated the night sky as rain split the fog and met the sidewalk in a rhythm of silence. I would have ran, my shoes sending water in the air as they bounced off the sidewalk, if not for the chance at a glance of her hair lying on her shoulders. She couldn’t see me with her back to the window, the coffee losing its warmth as she turned another page. I would have stopped, walked into the coffee shop and sat down beside her, my eyes pouring into her own in an effort to wi...

When I look at you my eyes touch a world unknown, my soul pouring itself, my heart racing at the sight of yours But the rhythm of my heart stops, the beat slowing until it pauses, my eyes unable to see what it sees, your heart a beauty unfolding before me I want to sit, stare, gaze at the sight the minutes becoming hours, the hours becoming days, until my last breath is taken I want to hold you until my grip wanes, love you until my heart stops, whisper of my love for you, until my soul is gi...

I really enjoyed this poem. As I read I couldn't tell if the writer was the daughter or the parent. Because though the parent is speaking it still seems as if the daughter is supposed to be the hero, the one who believes in the possibility of another world. I do not know if that was intentional, but I like it. The only thing I might change is the first part, before the daughter calls the parent naive. It doesn't flow like the rest, might try mixing it up. Other than that it's brilliant.
This review is all over the place and a very difficult read. There needs to be structure, plot details should not be thrown around the whole review, rather explained in a graff or two. "no wait, that’s just an Omega symbol and Kratos’ bad assery!" Huh? You can explain how great a game is using english rather than what is used throughout most of this review. You never told me why I should or should not buy this game. All I get is, "This is the shiznit!" Tell me why. Go through the graphics, th...

Does anyone say Kudos anymore? I hope not because I agree with the quote above. Although it's might work better than it is.

You get a 10 for making me literally fall off my chair and onto the floor laughing. That was great.
