Well, I didn't read the memoir but I think this is a very good quote! The metaphor you used for the memories everyone has is so unique and it really caught my attention. I don't think there is anyway to make this better because it is already at it's best :) The message I get from this is: a memory is something that never fades, unless you allow it too. Very nice.
This conveys a lot of emotion for such a short quote. However, there are two ways that you can take this quote. I think you can take it literal, that you are fed up with being literally sick and tired. Or you can take it in the sence of, you are fed up with being fed up. It conveys emotion because you can tell that you feel uneasy about the emotions you wish would just go away. And perhaps that is because it has happened for a long time.
i didnt really understand this at first but i guess if it is made to make my own interpretation, it cant be wrong right? i think what you are saying is sweet thoughts and sick thoughts make us well, think. you can think happy things and they fill your mind and make you feel like you are floating on air. you can think sad or bad thoughts and they can flood your mind in a negative way. if that is what you were trying to convey, i do like.
well one of your criteria was "be a help to someone" and with what i am going through, this helps a lot actually. so for that I thank you. i understand exactly what you mean: Love can not be defined but when you experience it, you get it. There are times when things have a bumpy road and you are unsure, but someday when the time is right as you said, you will find who makes you happy and who will help you find out your own definition of love. very nice work =]
