This is a very powerful and captivating piece. I'd love to hear it in rhythm. The progression through the different seasons and emotions while on the quest for paradise, settlement over a love gone wrong, makes the reader solemn-- your word choices are unfaltering. Very powerful. The only place I was lost is in the third from last stanza where 'come' is used twice.
