Death is near; he calls my name in the screams of dying men. They echo through the blood soaked ground and escape in the chill of the night. I will greet him, death; with a passionate heart and a prayer on my lips. I am too young to die, but are not life and death a mere reflection in God’s eye.

I live in the past but look to the future and some how I lose myself in the present. I forget to live, I forget to love, and then I just forget. Stop. Think. And then just smile and chuckle, for there is more to life then one person may ever surmise. We just need to be reminded every once and a while…………

I have a golden lab or more likely part lab/part mongrel but nonetheless a puppy. He’s lying under my bed a bit wet after a long bath doing what he does best – wreaking havoc. Starting is the easy part, get up and go. But what do you do when you start going. Your quote gives insight into the personal struggles of hunmanity. What to do with the time given to them; for most, simply existing is enough of a life for others a constant struggle to find purpose. Great quote.
Quotes / Building Block
Writer's block is the bane of all people looking to write down their thoughts. Metaphorically speaking, I believe your idea of "Inhale and cop a squat" would be akin to free writing. Just let it all out in one big satisfying dump!
Quotes / Why? Why not?
The ever consuming musing of a person who seeks acceptance and recognition within their society. I think you speak for everyone on this planet when you write who and when in your quote. Everyone needs to be accepted, needed, and most importantly loved. Great quote.

Quotes / Six Word Memoir
The big compromise in life to go away with what you could carry. I believe this sums up humanity rather well, as much of what people live and strive for is what they may physically posses.
This quote reflects the fragile state of the human heart when faced with honest and accurate critiques. There is a certain amount of pride and passion in every bit of writing posted on Urbis and everyone at least expects a bit of praise or recognition. However, when a writer is faced with honest feed back their response is to lash out with rage and stupidity.
