It was somewhere in the 13th hour of a mind numbing experiment with a credit card worth of McMullen ale in a place called the Windsor Castle. I recollect from my notes, it had taken a good while to swill thru the foam of that crap and my nose and face were covered in it like some gay face mask you only see on old Mancunian dilettantes in back alley modeling agencies. The beer itself resembled the jagged carpet on the floor and the tart drinking with me actually cut her lip on a particularly v...

Tom Mallory could drink. On an ordinary day he would swallow it like a fish. And then he would fight. The first act from loneliness; the second from confusion that overcame him somewhere in the late hour. This always happened, unless the Livingston girl was nearby. If you guzzle enough alcohol you can walk for miles without ever getting tired. But, if you drink too much, you forget this and fall prey to the madness that devours all logic. How about "No Seed Unsown" as your working title. It's rhythmic and pulls from the first page. Your 1st para is brilliant. It jumps out like a hungry hyena on meth! Don't change any of it. Your 2nd para is good but leaves me wondering a bit more about Gordon. It's all very good except for the introduction of Mira. I'm already wondering about a lot of things at this point, but Mira is too much. She is very confusing. Who is she? Solidify Gordon and then get to her.

Wonderful. I love the rhythm. Don't change a thing. The way the s,s,s,s follow the f,f,f,f,f is genius. Good job!

A"right. A man of few words, but that is b/c one has to economical around here concering credits. You know the drill ... [1] QUESTIONS, Questions, questions ... nice intro with ANSWERS, Answers, answers ... providing good b'ground ... [2] Very dense ... but effective ... perhaps an attempt to put us in the shoes of this man? There is a lot going on here, but yet all he is doing is ascending the step. You make it a bit of a challenge to follow him up. Nice. Was this intentional? You might want...
