Man, i just cannot see the purpose. I'm really sorry, but this feels like the words are put in there to fit the rhyme rather than direct it... Maybe (probably) I am not reading it right, and I would love an explanation...

This poem is very universal, it means a lot to quite a lot of people. I think with the imagery written this way, it also becomes very easy to relate with as well...
you are able to put yourself underneath the truth behind this poem, something many young writers like myself are quite envious of... (probably my problem there-) I think the story is what will be told regardless in this situation, the format is quite reformed, obviously in your head every day. Nice touch.

I think the abstract would be improved with editing- the last stanza really confuses me, and I'm not saying that to frustrate you, it's just that the sentence fragments make it hard to comprehend... It makes me wanna ask a lot of questions, which is good, like money? Hmmm... like should I save my paycheck this week? Is it fair to call money bread? I'm not reading your short story until you answer my questions.
This is a very solid beginning. The conflict between Ishikawa's devotion to his own heritage and the Red Army will be quite interesting to see evolve. Beria's character is perfect- you made me wonder if he liked the taste of human flesh. I think that 'Werewolf' is a stretch, but really just because of his name... also the authenticity is much more entertaining instead of historical (although there is quite a lot of history involved, I understand) so keeping the characters and plot as realisti...
It's interesting that you took the oak tree's viewpoint here... I think that the natural aspect of this poem implies a larger poem that has been written far longer than humans able to write. Bravo!
