This poems meanign is obvious - which isn't a bad thing. It has a positive meaning and that's always good. The only thing I think it's lacking is profound meaning. Why it should have some profound meaning is to instill feeling into your readers. Pretty poem.

You seem to relate alot to your own desires to write well. I find this to take away from your poems. At the start and end you write alot about... well, about writing. I always like the middle part the best. I think you could be an amazing poet it'll just take lots of writing until you get there. Keep in mind that I think that most people arn't capable of being amazing poets and also that even if they are most probably won't. I find nothing wrong with this poem, except that it dosn't say much... or that it says too much. I know that a poem can of course be short and still be good and if a poem is too long it can loose its meaning too. With this poem I find that it gets its meaning accross almost right in the title and then after the 1st two lines I know what it's about. The meaning of you writing this poem seems to be to communicate a feeling and so the words arn't as important after that feeling is already felt....
