I’ve  just completed a full field degree in English Literature at Kingston university (London). I enjoy writing short science fiction stories, and at the moment i’m working on two projects. one is sci-fi, the other is young adult :-)

I enjoy reading books, and my favourite authors are: Jeff Abott, Stephen King, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, H.G Wells, and Jasper Fforde.

I also enjoy listening to music, and going to gigs and stuff. Don’t ask me to pick a favourite band because there are too many! but I can be found on myspace under the same name of randyparrot.

Part 1: The Earth breathed a huge sigh of relief. It was such a huge sigh, that it created earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions, which would have hit a 12 on the Richter scale, had man still been alive. The demise of all mankind, and all other forms of life on earth, had been the reason for her sigh of relief. Mankind had nearly killed her with pollution. When mankind killed every other single living organism, including plants, animals, amoebas, germs, bacteria and jellyfish, she had ...

The Time-Keeper’s tale .......................... Time stopped. Just for a split-second, so that it wasn’t enough for anyone to notice. And even if they did, it was put down to absent-mindedness. People just suddenly forgot what they were doing and simply re-traced their steps to remember. Just a split second, which nobody would have missed? So then, why did one small being notice it? Perhaps it was because he was THE ultimate time-keeper. The Ultimate time-keeper was known to his friends an...

Sci Fi & Fantasy / Graveyard Shift
I like the quote you added! It gives an interesting start to it, and pulls the reader in right away. I also love the market place, which I dont think was there before. I love this version, its more detailed than the first one, and now the rest of it makes more sense! I enjoyed reading it, hehe. Its clever the way you've linked all religions and afterlife beliefs into one big world. I can't think of anything else to say, and I have no criticisms, but I really like it :-)
Short Story / The Collectors: Zebediah
I like this story, I think it has a lot of potential to go on a bit more. It did remind me a lot of stephen king's Insomnia (Guy called ralph visited by 3 agents of death). But I still think that you could expand more upon the collectors and why they collect! :-)
I'm really liking this! Now I know a bit more about the coins and stuff it makes more sense :-) I'm not too sure about the Gods running shops though.. aren't they a little high and mighty to be running shops, working and interacting with lower beings? (Don't get me wrong, its good, but I just dont see athena, goddess of brains beauty and war, running a fashon shop! haha). I'm curious to know why there is tension between Lana and Malik as she seems to like him! I can't wait to read more!
