The hero in this story is a good character with complexity and I really like the struggle that he is going through. He wants to please his father but realizes that this will probably never happen and yet he wants to also get away from all the fighting and live a different, more peaceful life. His father is a great protagonist, creating conflict in the story and adding more interest. This piece is very creative and has good aliteration.

I really like this and would love to see a full-length novel come from it. The characters are believable and the descriptions are excellent. There is an air of mystery about it, ie the man in the white suit. Who is he? Why is he there? Lots of questions here and I would love to find out the answers. Well done!!

I like this poem very much. I think it shows great insight into human nature and how the grass is always greener on the other side but when we get to the other side it isn't always as we thought it would be, either. I loved the use of the chess pieces to illustrate this point. Well done!

I'm not sure what kind of persons or creatures these are, but the emotions are obvious and this is a very intriguing story. I'd like to read more of it. Is there more? The use of description and word phrases is very good and I think that this would be something publishable if there were a full story to it. Nice work.
