Ok, wow. This brought back a lot of memeories for me as someone who has major depression and who is bipolar. I have never been addicted to drugs, so I don't know how that feels, but I do understand desperation and this piece definately captures that feeling very well. This serves as a fine warning. I'd like to congratulate you on your month of sobriety and encourage you to keep sober, one day at a time.

This was quite enjoyable to read and the only reason I didn't give it a perfect score was because it made me want to read more!! LOL. I want to know the back story to this! I felt that it moved along very well, was very romantic and tender and yet had an air of mystery about it. Nicely done.

This is a fine example of how a parent can impact a child's life so deeply, so completely and the emotions that are there under the surface, always longing to be shown but never getting the chance. It's a great reminder to us all that we need to not waste time and to show others how we feel. Thank you for asking me to review this piece.

This was a hard critique for me as I'm not a lyric writer myself, but I think this song could really say something about prostitution if it were tweaked a little and some more verses were written. I am not versed enough in song writing to know if you would need an agent or not, so I chose a score that reflected the fact that I wasn't sure. I would like to see a revamped version of this song.

I'm not sure what kind of persons or creatures these are, but the emotions are obvious and this is a very intriguing story. I'd like to read more of it. Is there more? The use of description and word phrases is very good and I think that this would be something publishable if there were a full story to it. Nice work.

I like this poem very much. I think it shows great insight into human nature and how the grass is always greener on the other side but when we get to the other side it isn't always as we thought it would be, either. I loved the use of the chess pieces to illustrate this point. Well done!

I really like this and would love to see a full-length novel come from it. The characters are believable and the descriptions are excellent. There is an air of mystery about it, ie the man in the white suit. Who is he? Why is he there? Lots of questions here and I would love to find out the answers. Well done!!

The hero in this story is a good character with complexity and I really like the struggle that he is going through. He wants to please his father but realizes that this will probably never happen and yet he wants to also get away from all the fighting and live a different, more peaceful life. His father is a great protagonist, creating conflict in the story and adding more interest. This piece is very creative and has good aliteration.
