I’m 16, and in highschool. Literature and music are my passions. I was published once…a poem in 6th grade. I was the youngest poet in the book :D I have a boyfriend, he’s amazing and I love him so much! He’s in college though so I miss him a lot! 2 years and we’ll be in college together! I have a HUGE family, it’s too complicated to even try to explain here. I don’t have a lot of friends, but the ones I do have mean the world to me. I’m smart and athletic, although asthmatic. I like to write lyrics to songs more than anything else. I’m in advanced math and honors english! I run varsity for my track and cross country team. I’m pretty unique, and love surprising people. I dont follow trends I set them. I love finding quotes that explain …

Those words you spoke a thousand times or more, spinning through my head like the ultimate top. Your voice rang true, and truth I believed it was. I realized I was mistaken. As I read those words, my heart melted. Thoughts of how sweet you were. Ya, until I read her name. She was the one person I thought you knew I was insecure about. You say your only friends, and friends is all you'll ever be. Yet you tell her you love her as much as there are stars in the sky, just like you've told me a th...

He doesn't care if he's the best, he doesn't even know that he is. I saw him die and I couldn't have saved him if I tried. I was watching throught the window, he never knew. I'll tell you how the fire really started. He picked up his guitar and tuned up. He began with a simple scale. Sparks began flying as he played...

I love this format so much better! It makes it seem a little more readable, and gives it structure. It draws the eye, and makes it simpler...it was just what it needed!
Not my favorite of yours but still well written! I love the colorful adjectives, and phrases! "By day, the sunflowers in the meadow stand tall, yellow, and, bright. Rippled by the wind and nurtured by the warm sunlight." These lines just make me happy and put a smile on my face. This poem really invokes nostalgic emotions. I really like how you give life and meaning to a plant. :D "Their seeded faces upturned toward the violet sky," this just doesn't flow quite right. It would be fine in a st...
(: Very commical! I love the truth in the fact that you never win...the statistics are a lie. I'm not a dew fan...maybe someday it will overcome me too and catch up though. :) "Depriving myself of this shit my whole life now had me suckling the plastic bottle like a neglected baby." I love this comparison, it really paints a picture. I can see you sitting in front of the gas station chugging this soda like your life depends on it!
Very well done! I love it. I am always defying the norms, and have a hard time accepting the fact that we are supposed to just conform...when really no one is normal. If a person can be called normal, they have not lived life...I agree on you with that. Bravo!
