Are we in this day and age afraid of instability? Or do we embrace it? Is it true that there is no stability? Or is it rather a fact that things – if looked at in the right way, can show some solid foundation, and that the word myth, when attached to thinkers like Plato is nonsense, because they have really found the truth? In a sense, whatever the answers to these questions are, the words of pe...

I remember what it's like to feel alone. I don't like it that much. The funny thing is, I only remember when I'm around people.

She watched patiently as the car drove away, her husband inside of it, and her kids too. Three long years she had waited for this moment to happen, when they would leave her. She knew it was coming for a long time, that things would eventually have to fall apart. That idea reigned deep down in her mind, submerged under the “goodness” of things, a fear of losing and being alone, a fear that all of the good things would eventually crumble into heartbreak, leaving her alone, un-wanted, and un-st...

A force like the sun attains a pivital role when it becomes a source of truth for other forms of matter. When it becomes this source of truth, other organisms develop so that they can survive in the world that the sun provides for them. In other words, they base their being off the being that the sun provides for them. In other words, they become creatures whose being is dependent on light. You could not even picture their being without light, so their being is dependent on the existesnce tha...

Quotes / true freedom
I like it because it gives the reader a definition of freedom. I mean that it seems to say "Freedom's action is not only "to" something, but "from: something, or in other words, you can give freedom to something, or something can give freedom to you. I really liked how you used open terms like to and from, because it gives the reader a lot to analyze on their own. So with that, I'm wondering, did I understand what you were trying to say?
Poetry / the betrayal
This poem covers a lot. It covers themes of justice, honor, dignity, and most of all, pain. These things also flow well for the reader because the characters' actions showcase directly to us, the struggles they have with them. Great examples of this showcase of ideals would be the father's and the speaker's struggle with what is just and honorable. If you wanted to publish this, the only thing I would work on is the capitalization. The way you have it here in all lowercase might hinder its pr...

Quotes / muse
I like this because it connects the muse that most believe is outside of ourselves to the spirit we are made up of. It seems like you're actually saying that our muse is our spirit. I like that idea and I agree. I believe we don't get inspiration from outside of us, It comes from inside. As a whole, the quote is short, concise and sweet. The words of this quote roll off the tongue.
This is very good. The image I get is that once a thought of despair comes into your mind, your more creative aspects get "rained on" or flooded out. Once this flood happens, you can no longer access creativity as easily as you could have. Now you have a small layer of "mist" covering what was once easily accessible, ie, your creativity. And of course the drizzle will often turn into a downpour, making for the possibility of creativity being completely lost under a flash flood. With all of th...
Poetry / Two Birds
Wow, you raise a very good question here about the nature of morality. Why are we compelled to help the hurt bird? Is it because we can? The bird is joyous on it's own, while it is healthy and free in the sky, when it doesn't need us. But when that bird is injured, we see it fall from not only the sky, but a state of happiness. When we see it fall we realize that it is in fact, unhappy, since it can no longer fly uninhibited like before. Since we long for happiness in our own selves, and admi...
