I’m a twenty-two year old Georgia College and State University student. My major is English with a concentration in Literature- but that’s only because I abhor having to write on cue. I graduate in May and hope to obtain a job nearer to home than I currently am.
My goal in life is to publish a book of short stories that have a Biblical reference at the end of each one. So far I have two, but neither are good enough to post yet.
Before that eventual publication however, I get to change my name. Next December I will marry my best friend- and I can hardly wait.

I had dinner with two friends tonight. I realized how much I missed them. There are others who are missed, but I know those are battles that cannot be won. Are you mad because God allowed you to wake up or are you mad because you're already having a bad day?
I love this poem. My father just celebrated 3 years of not smoking and it tugs at my heartstrings. Your usage of the floral scent made me smile. I am able to compare it to Dad blowing out Yankee Candles that he swears are lit-because he can smell again. I can relate to this poem- which makes me like it more.
I like how this makes me feel. It reminds me of trying to find your family's heritage only to have it slip away before it's all complete.
A familiar feeling with all of us frustrated with the technology world.
I've never heard of "flash fiction." However, I like what you chose to write about. It's familiar to all and has an interesting twist. Good Job.
