This poem makes me imagine a man preaching to empty pews, though the reader is the only one inside with him. The man preaches, but his words are lies. It is his actions that are real, and more dangerous than his words. He doesn't practice what he preaches. It reminds me of growing up in a world where we risk being "duped" in life.
