I’m a prolific writer…especially free hand. I just love starting with a thought and letting it lead me down some random path of unrelated ideas and inspirations.
My closest friends are my inspiration, including the young lady who invited me to join here. She knows who she is. Now that my hours at work have been cut, I’ll have more time to write whatever. I have more ideas than time.
I’m a 3rd genearation Colorado native, with one mother, one father, one surviving grandparent, a brother, two sisters, one daughter, two sons, a grandaughter, three nieces, 4 nephews.
Oh..and one ex wife. Whenever I think I’m ready to settle down again, I’ll strike up a conversation with her and realize “oh yeah, that’s why I’m not married”....

It reads too much like a Haiku. If you want to write a Haiku, that would be a better vehicle for this kind of a thought thread. A Six word statement should be an intro into a big idea.... this seems to be a conclusion to an idea that really never went anywhere.
This is something I can relate to. I just told a friend of mine this last night when she went off on one of her school girl rants. But we've all been there....trying too hard, thinking too much. I think I just came up with another 6 word memoir.
It's hard to be profound when you have 6 words to do it with. I was thinking more of "See my actions, know my heart". Something along that line would have carried more weight.
This is the best piece I'ver read in here since joining. I love it...it's powerful, and it isn't cliche', and I can feel the depth and the despair of just trying to hold on. I love it. Bravo!
