I like what you have so far. I think it has really good potential.
I really like how this begins and ends. Not to be too critical, but you can kind of tell the poem wrote itself. But not in a bad way. To me, I don't see much direction but that is just my style. It actually reminds me of something I wrote called 'Running'.
