I’m an artist.
I paint.
I draw.
I color.
I design.
And I see things sometimes in ways that other, non-creatives don’t (or can’t). I’m sure all on this site can relate to the over-active imagination and it’s power?
I’m a creative individual and writing is therapuetic to me. I’m not a writer. I don’t want to BE a writer. I enjoy writing and Urbis accommodates that release for me.

once upon a time in a land far far away a curly haired princess fell in love with a man she thought to be her prince charming. they spent a lot of time together and enjoyed each other's company very much. it seemed to be a match made in heaven for the princess... but then one day, the prince learned of a venture he was needed for in an even further away land. the princess understood his obligations and respected his dutiful nature. she dreamt of the day he would come back to be in her arms ag...

Hi (Names of my Employers), So... a long time ago in a land far far away.... you asked me to write a letter about what was so awesome about the After School Drawing Program. And awesome, it was! I started with the After School Drawing Program with the realization that I would be living a dream. A childhood dream of being able to positively influence children through art. Because I know art has always been there for me, in good times and bad, I wanted to share that with others. I had hopes of ...

Since I was young, I wanted to be a teacher. I also couldn't ignore the artist in me. After graduating with a degree in Commercial Art which was most practical at the time for an artist, I continued to dream of eventually become an art teacher. I wanted to be back in school at 26 and teaching by the time I was 30. When I first moved to Chicago, I came across an ad for an art instructor with an after school drawing program. I applied and was offered a job to start teaching in January of 2004. ...

Try these super easy suggestions if your cook (significant other) has seemed a bit disgruntled lately. If this doesn't work, then maybe there's something else wrong. When you are hungry and someone cooks a meal for you, I think it's only fair to show that person some appreciation. Here are my four simple suggestions to ensure repeat meal service: 1. When you are lying around feeling hungry, don't say "What is there to eat?" or "Go make me some food!" Even implying they should go make you some...

Really, at first I was dreading this read. I was thinking "yea, yea... we ALL hate chain mail and Fwd: FWd: FW:'s." All of us. We all hate them. Boring topic. But understandably, we all need to vent sometimes, too! But then, about six pargapraphs into it, I saw the real writer and became amused with how you've turned an everyday annoyance into an enjoyable rant.
hehehehe. This was funny to read. I applaud you for wanting to write (and think) outside the box. Keep that raw angst near you when you write! I want to comment on your reviewer notes, too. Sometimes, the things we hate (outside of ourselves) are really what we hate about ourselves. <-- You could probably make that into a much more precise and better Quote. Secondly, you HAVE to produce mediocre pieces! They are learning tools and without them, you might miss your next grand piece. Don't d...
Cute. I think every writer can agree. Even a non-writer should relate. As an artist, mine would say: I see so many shapes and colors, I jsut don't know what to paint!
