PEACH Pulling back, hard on the stick Sinking teeth into ripened peach Juices run Screams Moaning Tearing a hole in the cloud No passion here This is crude attack When paradise is lost to fundamentals Flagrant misbehavior is the mean Mean But there comes the ecstatic scream Worship of the lust Peach consumed and in death The consumated peach Stick forward, all the way Throttle back Peach and apostle of paradise Only a puff, a mist Vanished all the passion Not a search remains Love I t...

THE FLYING SEAT This Golden girl with a little curl Tender as a peach She loved me and I loved her I was always in her reach Goldie had the cutest seat She sat it everywhere She sat it on the counter And in my favorite chair One day she sat it in the barn And every body laughed When she went flying through the air And landed on her ass She had sat it on old bucky That cranky outlaw horse He would take no hors`n `round From a tender seat of course. --- Eagle Cruagh

Journal, Diary, & Blogging / ENEMY SWIM

ENEMY SWIM Gotcha ! Enemy Swim is a lake in Northeastern South Dakota. This is about how we think. How we think is about swimming up stream, therefore, "Enemy Swim". As you may recall, Stream of Consciousness is the name of a group on Writer`s Cafe. The thought behind Stream of Consciousness is this, we can all write, just sit at the computer keyboard and start to type. After a bit your mind takes over and things that make a lot of sense start to appear on the screen . Nobody is ...

Poetry / All about Love
The bad part of this is: It was too long , two long pages of dialogue about things that make up love. The problem with it is there was no beginning and a very weak end. Sorry ! I did not care for any of this, primarily because it wss too long and I could find no direction in it. Obviously the writer put a lot of thought and effort into this poem. It rhymed well. A little forced.

Poetry / A lover's plea
The last line, "kiss me softly once again". This sums up the gentle pleading of the poem. The story is one of regret and hope, hope that love will be renewed. "Find the light from whence we came." A plea for the couple to look to the source of their love that it may be renewed. I see this as a beautiful plea for understanding and renewall. It has been rated as I would have it rated.
I have two general suggestions: The poem is too long. Two pages of discussion of love and self is a little too much. 2. The poem is not devided into paragraphs or stanzas. It would be easier to read and it would help to maintain interest if each thought was followed by two or three spaces. Break up the page. The spelling was excellent and the use of the language was very descriptive.
