slowly grinding we speak forgetting sounds inside of incoherence and dilemma suckling on the wings of anger like forays into spaces written and rewritten a bitter spat that regrettable evening red wine lips that try to kiss argue and dissuade ignorance sharp tastes of week-old wine pale in the candle glow of 3am sweet to the touch tasting her fear like the tingles that play trapeze on my tongue fingering a dim, dark whistle in my mind sounds of songs that smack of imagined significance an ass...

Stop. Just for a moment, and realise You're unearthing madness Shoveling away reality Adorned by gaunt expression Wistful in anticipation Flows that come Through and out of the other Sideways cubes angled through irksome circles Sometimes for the past Throwing stones in muddy ditches Playtime dressed in irrelevance Shaking hands to touch Wondering where it all went The boy sits with crossed legs fearful to flounder on the cusp Wriggling away from deference Shielded in groups apart Ties that l...

Destruction is a beautiful thing Switching from the foibles of the new, That unavoidable period. Full stop throttling the fluidity, Of you and me, and me and you. It began with a view to finish, A story i wasn't interested in, Flicking to the final page, just to see how long to go, Irrelevant nows plow through anger Distances so frivolous So far from the ideal Sallow eyes with narrow ties - Diluted from memory Like that summer with her Shifting closer to meaningless conversations, Lips that t...

it wasn't free for you painted nails that felt just fine content inside of a cold, cream wrapper i guess you were right it was like the picture we took [fuck it really was] but i didn't really want to, you know Tuesdays; always feel like calling her, she or the other singing signs that separate films from music with a flick and that long 2 second pause yeah, i know you don't but understanding takes practice come back up again your picture never looks the same really, in France? stop that, it ...

Why is it that we can see through smiles? Why, or perhaps how? How can we see through smiles? The projection of one thing obviates its own truth, choking the foundation of all preconceived truisms. It’s an innocence that flirts with emotion, skirting the periphery but never stepping in, only around – when I’m smiled at, it could mean absolutely anything. This has become a problem of late. Truly. You see, I see smiles every day - friends, family, strangers, the guy who tries to sell me the big...

i like this quote a lot. for me it signifies the end or destruction of a relationship, and as we all know, destruction is much more appealing than friendship. by creating a 'bridge of friends' we are able to destroy the past by being 'able to walk away from you'.
this is a good piece of writing for somebody so young, and your comment alludes to the fact that it may have been written a while ago. is this a piece about falling in love with somebody whom you originally didn't appreciate? that is the message that comes across to me, although like you say it is based in a series of works, so perhaps there is more to be understood, i'm not entirely sure as yet. anyawys, i'm impressed so far - great work, keep on writing, it always gets better with time.

this feels like an unfinished work in progress. the imagery of introspection that you create at the start works realy well, particularly i like the line, 'cold blue piston legs, stomping and shaking the ground'. the imagery is ferocious, drawing on strong metaphors. it's just that your ending falls flat. it left me looking for the next stanza, surely there' more to this inward-looking piece than a shivering mirror. regards
