I’m W.D. I just turned 20 and I am a student at CSU, majoring in Early Childhood Education, and just a few hours short of officially be considered a college sophomore I have been living with spastic diaplegia cerebral palsy since I was an infant. It’s not so bad, and the wheelchair makes it easier to fit in, with sports and all. I want to make a difference as a teacher, whether it’s one student or one hundred. I can have fun doing most anything with my friends and family, at home or out & about. I believe in God and miracles. I am very talkative & smile a lot! My thoughts of you are like the tide, rising and falling by the hour. When I'm with you, I float just as if I were in the saltwater. Departing your company, I'm both exhilarated and exhausted. Home to sleep in the shade of our memories like palm trees, I fall fast asleep. But to be sure, I'll awaken with you washed upon the shores of my heart again.

Loving the visuals here, great job! All this on no sleep? I need to not second guess myself so much then, and just let it come. Sorry to stray there, but like I said, wonderful job.
I really liked this piece, especially your opening with "A love I can’t explain, With ink and a world of time. If words were single drops, I would run the ocean dry." It created an image in my head and I think that as a writer, that helps me better connect with my audience. And athough it's a byproduct of your subject matter, the poem is very easy to relate to.
