The clouds scrape the sky Finger paintings from heaven A canvas stretched for miles Enveloping the Earth’s presence, So fortunate are we A beauty such as this So unpredictable The mystery behind its kiss, The sun glances in my direction In this chair that I sit My eyes barely open Forming a tiny vulnerable split, Its rays dance upon my skin Until the breeze pushes itself in And now a struggle of hot and cold My skin with no defense to hold, It’s this time of season When the butterflies take ...

We strive for purpose for meaning A story with an unknown ending, Your mind is eager to know the truth of you As your heart to burn in the moments you once knew, You’ve come along way some view as real far Made it over that hill, bumps and bruises and scars, You took something small and created an new world Any negativity you touched you quickly would hurl, Out into that ocean of things that are unseen With an impact into a sea of aquamarine, Calmly you walk the shoreline watching your impres...

You and your vicodin drip Me and my saline trip, Its a proverbial slide For an addicts ride, I tip toe into these words you lay out for me I lay them over my shoulders and wear them comfortably, They keep me warm in this sedated shell My thoughts remain closed off in this shadowed hell, Wrap me up in these pills you take And lay in this bed of pills you’ve made… Amanda

You have found your feet And you said, “They're on the ground" You have been wondering so long Searching for something profound, The sun broke that day That day that it peered from the distance Right off of the blinds in our room And pieces crumbled with persistence, Glitter floating in the air Like tiny feathers being swept away Your eyes bled that beautiful green The perfect combination that makes my head sway, You touched me and assured me That everything would be okay And I fell back into...

I take a cracker and I crumble it in my hand Tiny pieces fall, then violently land, I view in on a woman with painful disgrace Standing over what was her husband, now just an empty case, Her heart mourns for her lover the loss of her friend Now just a lonely survivor along with the others that suspend, Hanging they suspend with their hunger on a rope Doing everything possible to not lose that one thing called hope, I narrow in on a man trying to understand Tried to do everything to not let go...

Poetry / Misery
That does sound pretty miserable. I felt as though when i was reading this i was climbing a hill and then left off just a little to climb again real quick, and then i was let off to fall again. It was quite a bumpy ride, in a good way. I enjoyed this piece. Thank you for sharing.
Great Write. Unbelieveable use of imagery. You have a way to draw pictures by your choice of words. My favorite part is "my blood congealed, shoves through my arteries like peanut butter sucked through a straw." That sounds so painful, it gives me the feeling of great struggle. I really enjoyed this piece. Thanks for sharing, and i would really look forward to reading more.
I found two criteques. The first being, "Manson had even mad (made) a name for himself on the Los Angeles music scene, working with members of the Beach Boys" and then " In fact, he did (did not) even personally execute the crimes of which he is accused." Other than that this is a pretty intreguing piece. I would love to hear what else you have to say on this matter. I think it would be interesting to be able to dig into the dark mind of such a manipulitive, insane beast. But perhaps his grea...

Thats a good one! And a smart thinker! Great write, i can't really think of much to say. It has a good message, and is strong. I like how you rearranged "LIVE" into "EVIL", very thoughtful. Keep up the good work.
