THE FOX AND THE SEAGULL Chapter 1 There’s was an unlikely beginning. For foxes and seagulls do not speak the same language. ******* 9.12am. Lester Penrose closes his office door after stepping out and says “Mary, please take messages and cancel my 11.30. There’s no other business today and I’ll be on my Blackberry”. Lester is the financial controller of a very large London-based international corporation and has direct responsibility for its ...

I look at you with my left eye, my wife with my right. At the very end they'll ask me why I did it, she'll ask me why, I tried (i never tried, I lied). Why can I feed on you with the same passion- love, who can say it is or is not- as the next one and the next. This spell shoots out, I want to shout out this final rapture where they can't hear us, where they don't know us, where they won't know where to look. Those moments you damned fear and shame and doomfull expectation in blissful flotati...

This eclipse, my eye, is your satellite burning up the heavens as it crashes back home. Spectacle of fire trails, you know brightness always feeds on entrails.

asks some interesting questions and is well written but i was a little bit confused as to whom "cunt" was referring to- the guy or the girl as previously you say "He has a hole". But if, as you say they love to be pitied, why would the guy be pitied? it seems like he is the one who is taking advantage. The line "Cunts get fucked.." reminded me of the recent puppet movie which ends with a monologue about "assholes get fucked" and perhaps this is too much of a cheap cliche in retrospect, so thi...
very concise and truthfully asks the reader questions about reality and concept, the present as the future looking back- very clever indeed. i enjoyed the "" as it sounds like "break" so this is great visual use. at the end you say that emotion whether e-motion or real is still important, so i like the resolution. this is a wise and simple poem almost like haiku. well done!
first off, this is a very passionate poem. that's in essence what poetry is about and you've done very well conveying desire in the intricate descriptions. But- I think it could be edited some more by perhaps taking out words if possible without diminishing the impact of the lines. This is because it comes across a bit too prosaic. i loved "reach in and colour your beautiful mind", how it refrains with "saturated mind" further down, and also "never once to abuse you" with "can never be too ki...
