It reminds me of knee surgery. My mom just had both knees replaces and it has made her much less mobile. Is this indeed about a cow or the feeling of slugishness?
It brought tears to my eyes and made me think of time spent with my grandmother and being in the hospital when she was about to die. It reminded me of how I feel her watching over me still tody and how she visits in dreams. It was something that struck home :)
Bravo! A ten from me! Babies are art, our creations. And yes, they are being sold into slavery by by corporate moghuls (sp?) to the highest bidder. I love it! a small piece with much to say and humour to boot :)
yup, nailed it on the head..... an ongoing power struggle to be the best and the most revered. silly human race :)
wonderfully witty and visual. Descriptive enough that I can aactually relate, aside from dial up. I did have the same story except the culprit was a roach, the demon seed on all insects. I told my husband that I cleaned out the coffee maker just as you did, the old swish and dump method and found something gross...he said he would prefer not to know, so all was well. I always check the coffee well after that experience :) Great story, fun read :)
I completely agree and resonate with your thoughts. Actually I had written quite a lengthy journal entry about this very subject, entitled, " Life and our Tribes". I feel like I am walking on the set of event horizon...the curious ghost ship that has been destroyed from the inside...intriguing! I am still hooked :) two things...who is rena...i don't remember her and what is a pelican? i assume it's a remote ship? you do so well at explaining new characters and items, did my add miss them in the last chapter? i like the building of the relationships between target and ora...and nothing makes you work together like being put in the position of survival. l...
It starts off a bit difficult to read, but rightly so, as you are introducing unfamiliar names and places. This is just the beginning so it is important to do just that. I like the introduction of the characters and their development of relationship. a couple things I noted: When Target had first met Ora, he had not talked for anything, and had been rather rude. I personally think this section would read better as, "When Target had first met Ora, he would not speak for anything" Ora Remained ...
Rock on to that one! All things were once a thought, I believe we are gems constantly being faceted :)
I LOVE it! I like the posing of the question, describing potential answers and ending with the question. Can love be defined by one person? I like the way it almost points like an arrow down to the end question, Love is what? Excellent job :)
