Hi,
I consider myself to be a narrative artist first and a writer secondly. This may change if I make up my mind what to edit next. My time is very divided and lately I’ve been building my art portfolio.

http://narrativenotes.blogspot.com/

I am a potter / ceramic artist, I am a printmaker a book artist and in the past I’ve done some super-8mm film work.

Normally I write longer works, but I don’t seem to want to share or talk about them until I’m finished. (This is something I mention because it’s on my mind, as a hurdle I need to climb over). One reading my short stories here may find this difficult to imagine, as I’ve been testing out “soap boxes” and contradictions. I am very unsure about my mastery of the short s…

I was just standing there, on the cliffs above the sea of far away hopes, my gaze lost in the sky, my mind clouded within a tangle of seemingly endless circular thoughts, like clouds when two timeless creatures grazing the shore paused, sniffing in my direction. "We eat jumpers." It said. I gulped, and then looked away trying to think of something to make my expression dull and my brow unfurl, away from the scared wide eyed stare I self-consciously knew was too close to jumpy. 'It' was big w...

About dates on pottery: Ceramics is a sculptural archetypal art form. The only older art is cave paintings and rock carving. And the cave painting lasted because they were safe from the elements in a very good gallery (in their cave) and because they were painted with fire, like an ash blackened pot. I mention the above popular knowledge tid-bit because I've had recent conversations with some studio potters about how they don't date their pots. But, I feel it is important to make note of the...

"One juggling fool, three simultaneous contraries and their relationship to the camera". The jester cat stepped into the middle of the stage and unveiled a basket full of colored balls. “Ah does anything we say or do ever make a difference? .. do the masses even listen ?” The fool meows and hisses softly a few times, to get their attention, then rapidly begins the tale for the court party. “Dear audience who might not know your left from my right when given directions, simply because it feel...

Sci Fi & Fantasy / A Kind of Homecoming
I feel like I should go to your site and see your animation & art before I write this review, but, I will go see how off I am after I write this. Great stuff for the sci-fi comic genre. Almost perfect, here are the few tiny things I noted reading this. 1. The MP9 song. It pays muted a for a while but I wanted more details, song lyrics or something. William Gibson does this, has a song playing on phones in a characters' head during a scene, and Sergei Lukyanenko Daywatch / Nightwatch trilogy a...

Haiku/Senryu / Fermentation (senryu)
If I understand Haiku, they are like little puzzles, where one attempts to pick from the thousands of words in their vocabulary to "fit" the pattern that expresses a full and complete meaning in the confines of the syllables. Please don't hate me, but I read this as bottling up ones emotions is a receipt for making bubbly tart champagne, and while this is .. well it's naive. To release emotions does make one feel better like getting rid of gas pains. And Conrad Aiken might joke about cerebro-...

Journal, Diary, & Blogging / My Happy Pill
some obvious typos in there, not miss spellings but those missed words, why instead of way. but it's a journal. You asked if we had found our happy pill or good luck in finding it? I don't think of killing myself because it would be too much of a mess for others who love me to have to clean up. But, when I was sick and facing my mortality I found a few odd little things that keep me here, will to live is found in some of the best simple things in life, sometimes. And also it's not in those "t...
