Bill Grimes Jr., born in 1959, was raised in Mobile, Alabama, where he graduated from The University of South Alabama with a degree in Education. He began his amateur writing career as a teenager, primarily as a poet and a lyricist. "cleaning chunks of flesh from wheel-wells.' Wow! This is a brutal poem , honest, raw, filled with imagery of senseless death. Very sad write, the woven thread........ insignificance of human life from the bland responce of the cop. I re-read this several times to get the full range of emotions. Very well written. Bill
