My eyes see, but were shut, I'm on empty. Fumes of illusion kept me drifting believing delusion, no tears to cry and deception is hard to deny. Inside of me. longing for sleep to set me free, but truth be, I believed you and not me. .

My eyes see, but were shut, Life ceased to be illusions are empty. I am but an entity a drifter from reality A Godless spec in the folds of humanity. I ask myself why as I look to the sky a secret silence passes me by. Sadness seeps inside of me. please let sleep and set me free . I never let you see me cry deception makes it hard to deny once exposed; eyes wide open . I cry; the lie saying goodbye.

'Fools fooling no-one.' but how we try, with all the mask's to hide behind. Lots of symbolism in your poem and written in such an emotive way. 'crumbling plaster', 'torn silk curtains', and the pretend to be alive. You conjure up the vision well, and all the while the feeling that you are not speaking of them, but yourself. Very good .

it was a tear jerker in a warm way. One last look. I guess everyone should like to have one last look just one more time. I guess the lucky ones get the wish granted and' seal' the memory shut.
