Would you believe ten cents? (...Hardly cab fare)... That's all I remember i have... that, and one of your photographs; the one of us smiling, languid in the presence of all your fans. The music makes us smile. I hope you didn't hold two fingers behind my head in juvenile fashion That would remind me of the widening gap between us. Goodbye my sexually peaking god. You are so grown up - yet so naive. The 23 year old young man dressed in young women. "Don't move you could crush one." I could w...

I can paint you no intellectual picture fraught with word and examples from our literate historians or authors who make reference to points in time that mean little, or nothing, to us I can keep you warm for tonight when we can define ourselves in night's sweet shadows or give it all up in a shining hour to revel briefly, momentarily, here and now and mean little or nothing to each other.

THE GRASS IS GREENER The grass is greener on the other side The things we wish we had, and said, and did Where world and dream, so effortless, collide You dream to have what some possess with pride so from your dreary life you will be rid The grass is greener on the other side The simultaneous sparks that shine inside the darkness of your dreaming to forbid Where world and dream, so effortless, collide Where all your dreams are washed out on the tide to own it all you battle with your id The...

Aren't we all (all of us) such special individuals with such tender (heartwarming) stories and (such) gentle sides to our natures Isn't the most human response that of gathering each other up into warm-armed embraces? To collect the best of ourselves To harvest that and (To) throw away the rest If I were to take your child and love you both, couldn't I in some way heal the hurt and help you to be whole And if you surround my child with your strong arms and love both her and me Oh, what an out...

Here and Now Waking from the world of forgetfulness; Transformed by the truth; This is the moment I have waited for: Governed by Love; Powered by Law; The universe unfolds in three: Spirit, Soul & Body - ME! I know I'm governed by the law that works on each alike: That I can have all I can hold, And all I'm open to receive: I watch the mysteries unfold; It's only done for me as I believe. "First cause" is thought Both thought and spoken word create "reality" My life is by the WORD transforme...

Limericks / The Cloud
Let say, please take no offense at my review as it is not personal: I review many limerick offerings, and grow tired of commenting on them as it takes so long to instruct would-be limerick writers. I could avoid them, but don't because I love them and am always hopefully expectant. Here goes: Your poem is NOT a limerick! It is a POEM!! A cute poem, (as you say in the reader notes), BUT it is NOT a limerick. Maybe you clicked the wrong button when selecting the category. I will support why I s...

Journal, Diary, & Blogging / Tireless rant about absurdity: Dead End
Man, that was a LOT of existential gloom, but with enough truth, intelligence and inspiration in it to make it tolerable. There is one line page 2 of 4, paragrapah 1, where you say "scold the flesh" did you mean "scorch"??? Anyway, I thought this was a bit of brilliance and I thought it moved well from beginning to end with great imagery (albeit dark and forboding and.. "now it's time for my paxil" wait there.) It tied the beginning well back into the end and the reviewer notes were helpful. ...
