Journal, Diary, & Blogging / Three Things Other Kids My Age Will Never Say
Version 1
0 Reviews   0 Comments
Three things I say that will never touch another kid my age's lips: 1- I'm craving a chicken Caesar salad with Italian dressing. 2- My eyes hurt from reading too much. 3- There's a special on Greek mythology I can't miss! This hit me when I was craving a salad late at night. (I wound up not getting my salad.)

Hunter had known her secret for a long time; even before he had fallen in love with her. He had figured something was odd about her, and when confronted, she had told him, because she knew she could trust him. But that wasn’t a necessarily a testimony to how he treated people; it was because she knew. She knew a lot of stuff. Angel Frederickson could reach into your mind and pull out the information she needed, without a thought to morality or basic human rights. He wasn’t sure she was human...

Tender kisses on bloody lips, The saint and the sinner forevermore, I am the girl that likes to rebel, I fight, I curse, I generally raise hell, I laugh at the boy that will not hit back, I am quite certain I know what I lack, I push away the pretense of sanity, Though I take great stock in my vanity, So how am I the girl for him? The girl that makes his world spin? But for now I would like to be, The anomaly.

Punding footsteps echo through, This empty, spacious hall of doom, Never stop to look behind, You are warned; there is no more time, What have you done? Look around, no one cares, no one, This is the depths of the deepest hell. You cannot see, hear, touch, taste, or smell, You are another face in a sea of faces, No one and everyone, they remain the same, Welcome to school.

So here I am, sitting in the middle of Redneck, USA, wondering who the hell put me here and whether I can sue them. But then I remember my mother put me here, and I would probably lose my allowance if I sued her. So everyday I am put up to the excruciating pain of seeing shirts that proclaim, "Cowboy butts drive me nuts" or "Southern by the grace of god" or, my personal favorite, "Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve". I have finally learned to keep my mouth shut, however. I will not make some sa...

Humor/Satire / Rehabilitation
This was great, and it made me laugh out loud. There were a few things, like “Yeah he was alright actually” should be Yeah, he was alright, actually, and adding the goodnight at the end of the last sentence made it read weird, but overall it was really good.
This was sweet and sad all at once, which I'm assuming was the point. I really liked this. I was a little put off by the fact that there were no capital letters or punctuation to speak of, but pretty good.
Poetry / Light Years
I liked this a lot, especially since who hasn't had some kind of fascination with the night sky? Good job.
Poetry / Seasons End
This was short, sweet, and to the point. It was great, but I was a little thrown off on how it's written as one sentence.
Journal, Diary, & Blogging / Tao, Verse 2, and Butt-Crack Perspective
This was well-written, and had a good point to it. I liked how you started off with the day where the "the snow fell… down my butt crack". This was hysterical and touching at the same time, which is something that's often hard to accomplish. I really enjoyed this.
