This is not "criticism" or a film review, to be honest. It is the sort of rant that belongs on the blogosphere. A film reviewer understands that the shaky cam is a generic trope. See Blair Witch Project (which is mentioned but not discussed), George Romero's Diary of the Dead, and a host of other flix. All of which (as Cloverfield is) were successful w/ audiences. This entry is something he just spit off the top of his head, at least I fucking hope so. But it's semi-amusing at least. And it is a story, which is more than i can say for most of the loser ent...

Given the restrictions of the contest, this isn't awful. It's trite but at least it says something. I've read worse and I'm sure that there are also better ones out there. It has the principle virture of being non-offensive.
