i gave you a 9 because i'm not really a fan of rating systems, and i think that there is value in all art. that being said, and these being song lyrics, did you write the music to this piece as well? sometimes that helps to determine where the song is going. this is obviously a very personal piece, so thank you on everyone's behalf for sharing, that's a big thing. also, the use of an irregular rhyming pattern in the refrain (a-b-a-b, c-d-d-c) is very pleasing, definetely distinguishing it as ...
