Welcome fellow readers and writers.
My favorite book of all time is ‘Tess’ by Thomas Hardy. Neil Gaiman is another top ten author of mine.
Likes: ancient history, magick, fantasy, dark powers, sorcery, ceremony, philosophy, esoteric, the past great minds Plato and Jung.
Dislikes: Self help/how to…. books.
Character warning: effusive, empathic, manic.
I am working on a novel The Return of Dadhyanka which I dream t about two years ago, it is complete, but not polished.
A quote from my favorite Looney Tunes cartoon from Animaniacs silly puppy “I love you, bye bye.”

I arrived at my office that morning to find out that Mable had already banked Semelia’s cheque and paid off my parking fines. I had told Mable to take out the pay I owed her, but being Mable I knew she would only take half of it. If anyone was due for a treat it was her. I wanted to make things up to her big style. Luckily my morning was free of appointments; Semelia’s next engagement wasn’t until the next day. I planted a kiss on Mable’s cheek and she handed me my car...

I offered Semelia a seat and she sat down in front of me.. When was the first time you saw this woman?” I asked. “It was at the do after the premier of ‘Blues Party’.” ‘Blues Party’ was my favorite film. I remembered the silky tones of the bass line caressing Semelia's flawless smooth skin. The flashback caused me to take a long deep breath. I tried to ...

That morning I was meeting a new client, Semelia Browning. She had made a name for herself, starring in a couple of film noir tasteful soft porn movies. To say I wanted to make a good impression would be an understatement. My nerves had got the better of me. I had a bad feeling, a sense that I should have given up and started over. None of my socks matched and I managed to spill coffee down my last clean shirt. As I tried to sponge off the stain I couldn't help wondering why Semelia had ...

To say I wanted to make a good impression would be an understatement. And yet, despite this I had a bad feeling, a sense that I should have given up and started over. WHAT IS NORMAL? Society has labeled me mentally unwell. WHY? Define Normal? The dictionary definition is: conforming to what is standard or usual; free from mental or emotional disorders. Have you met anyone that fits this definition? Studies have shown that 'life' can and will cause depression. Has anyone experienced life? I sing loudly whilst out walking. Am I mad? Or just exuberant? We are conditioned to suppress emotions. What if you cannot? There are a lot of reasons to cry - like war. S...

electricity cost(s) money Talking was cheap(,) for you listen(ed) Its main street led up to the church, went around it leading back to the main road and then to the highway. They advertised (their) warehouses The characters are convincing and interesting enough to gain reader interest. One thought the narrator POV is Papi's child, she speaks as if she was there when Papi was a child, fly on a wall. Perhaps just state the events from an omnipresence POV or flashback from Papi's viewpoint. Alth...
Such raw emotion. This is good. Remember Justin T Cry me a river, same genre, but your lyrics make his song seem lame. The hook is catchy reminds me of 'I hate you so much right now' by Kelis, one of my fav songs. Yours is real, men do beat up on you, but we don't hear this in mainstream music. Music has a great healing propensity. I think your words could heal a lot of woman. Sing this loudly. I hope you get your recognition. Peace.
Your ending worked for me. Fabulous imagery and emotions throughout. A loving mother and a distraught father. A very sad story that could ring true for a lot of third world parents today. Am unsure whether the spelling mistakes are intentional or not. dieing/dying? tiered/tired? holding back more than words alone he went to take a bite of it Sorry I could not think of an alternative ending.
Excellent worded snapshot of horror. I love the uncertainty of this piece that you create in the main character. Your words are edgy and lead the way with suspense up until the final few paragraphs. The wall glistened with a sticky sheen. An alternative as you use the word 'was' a lot in the first few sentences. My hand made a sickening squelch/smack or not. I felt faint (omit still more active) but I did not want to fall over again. air filled my lungs and my body was rejecting it. Avoid 'I ...

A fabulous read. Lydia's persona reminds me of a younger mentality with a chip on her shoulder, angst, like indie pop in story form, a deep thinker. She believes she is on a higher level than the rest of humanity. I like. Vile and yet cute she steers clear from stereotypical female behavior, marking her territory, pipe smoking with a graceful aplomb. I like. Poor Greg on a crest of a new book deal suffers in silence and yet we get he is somewhat intrigued, perhaps pleased to escape his own ba...
