Hey I’m Sharon , and live in London,UK. Currently in college studying Graphics, Textiles and ICT. Im really into the creative arts such as music, dance, singing, poetry, design & acting and I’ve been playing the piano/keyboard for about 3years. I started writing poems when I was 14, didnt really take it seriously, but now I see poetry in a different way and would also like to begin song writing!

Why is it that we all try our best to fit in Why cant we love that special something that lies within Why do we judge by what we see on the outside And yet all we see in the inside is pride Why cant we all just be unique And get given a chance to be heard and to speak But hey thats the way life is Always having to go through that same old crisis Where no one accepts you for who you are And there you are, hoping you'll be that next lucky star

I like the onomatopoeia that you use in your writing,"swish swish" and "Whoosh" great technique. Helps the reader to picture the scene!
This poem is well written, the usage of "flying" and the "sky" is great visual imagery to get your point of breaking free across! Another thing i noticed was your one word lines, this technique is also very effective, and makes those words striking!
