It is 4:00 A.M. and the rain has fallen incessantly for hours. My inconsistent thoughts, keep coming back to you. Passion filled brown eyes glazed by the twilight. The sounds of frogs and creek water in the distance. I love the smiles that come with new. Momentarily restoring faith. Wrapping oneself in brevity. What is life really but a series of events? Eventually for a brief moment, my mind will dwell on your essence at 4:00 A.M. April 27, 2008

I only have one critique. As the reader I walk away now wondering, what did she slip and tell you?? This isn't my relationship. I don't know you or her.... remember the reader.
I rarely like poems that are in lines and stanzas like this... I've always thought they take away from the poem. Not this one!! Maybe you know HOW to do this the "right" way... you sure made it work. Wonderful piece, I loved it!
