Raised in southern Georgia by a struggling single parent I resided in predominantly black neighborhoods and attended predominately black schools. In fact, in grades 3-5, my sister and I attended classes as the only white minorities in our homeroom classes. Unfortunately, I was also a shy, nerdy white girl who didn’t retort back and was viewed as snobby, this lead to being basically ignored or teased and occasional actually physically attacked. My sister and I would walk home together as quick...

This is an intense and gripping short story. The actions of inanimate objects abound in this piece serving to allow the reader to experience the surrealness of the story. However a cliche caught my attention..."carressed like a lover" maybe you should consider a different simile for the furniture's fine finesse and confort.
This character piece reveals one of Nikolas's major motivations, revealing that most of his actions will be a reflection of his indoctrination as a child through words and corporal punishment to cynically believe that lying is an inescapable part of a painful life. Great work!
line 4 ... 'it takes control quick and hard"....instead this is more in keeping with the rythym of the poem..
This peice does a good job proving its thesis. However some stylistic and grammatical editting is recommended.
interesting.. definetly touches on many sensitive emotions of conflicting natures...
