Jackson “Jack” Mourning PROLOGUE BLATANT It was a simple note. Like hundreds of others she had left for me over the years stuck in the pipe of my two-foot tall statue of Sherlock Holmes. But for some reason I knew this note would be different, and as I reached to free it from Mr. Holmes pipe, I hesitated. I don’t know why but I did. I looked around the small home we own in Middletown, Rhode Island. Everything was in place as always. The white sofa with black throw pillows, the marble coffee ...

A Bullet Fired Manny Gomez pulled the trigger of his .9mm Glock. A bullet fired horizontally will hit the ground at approximately the same time as the ejected casing;however, the horizontally fired bullet will have a much higher velocity downward. Therefore the downward velocity components Vy at t=0 are the same Vy=0 for both bullet and casing. Johnny Washington was pissed off by his mother’s attitude. She just didn’t have a clue. Cooks Like Us A Harmon Colt Mystery Novel By Kem Roy Neal Mark Lawrence died begging to live. You nailed this chapter. I read a lot of mysteries and thrillers, they have a certain flow to them that you captured here. This is not even the first chapter, yet I was still able to get to know the detectives, and also have a since of place. I do not know where this novel is going; but I want to read more to find out. Great job... Kem
Wow... I wish my girl friend would talk to me like that... Now, you have a way of expressing yourself that cuts to the chase. I have nothing negative to say about this poem. I enjoyed reading it and I think you should send it out for publication. Good luck. Kem Roy Neal
I would like to know why he is going to hell. Perhaps a little more on his past. It isn't bad... It just needs a little more. Good luck. Kem
This is a great first draft. Be sure to finish it the go back and clean it up. The story is strong, it has fantastic narration and since of place. You are a very visual writer. I think this story would make a good screenplay.
