She has lost her love. A very long time ago. Only it was just today that she realized who she loved, who loved her, how he loved her, and what it has cost her in self-esteem, self-worth, and a lifetime of relationships. Prior to crying out her eyes, she would now describe the stillness in her heart as "the silence of the lambs", or a rabbit's scream. During her sobbing time, she would now explain it as an endless sorrow, a stripping of the meat from her rib-bones, while they remain inside her...
