I used to be an industrial/organizational psychologist, but now, thank God, I’m no longer enslaved to the Pharaoh of corporate culture.  

I’m married to a strangely brilliant and loving neuropsychologist.  I have two incredibly beautiful, talented and hilarious daughters who make me laugh and cry and scream.  They fill my days with a mixture of hair-pulling frustration and joyous wonder.  I currently have the “blessing” of being able to homeschool my kids.  This avocation provides me with intermittent bouts of elation and joy, as well as frequent fantasies of being committed to a recovery hospital for a …

I live in a large Southern metropolis with a church on every street corner and the most colorful mix of cultures and shades of religion imaginable … plenty of great accents and highly entertaining neurotic overtones to boot.  Sheez, with all these blessings you’d think I’d have a better attitude.  But, alas, I struggle with interminable sarcasm and a slight case of pessimism.  I guess that’s the plight of the holy rebel.
