There are tales of those who all they want is to morally right and to be alive. Oh, praise being alive, they do. None of them want to die, no, no, no death is something they all fear. For if Death was to find them, they’d quiver and get in the fetal position and beg for their lives. Not in this tale though. A young boy who wants to find Death, but looks in all the wrong places. Let’s begin this grim tale. As the door swung wide open, there stood a portly lady in her mid-thirties, ...

A man of few words, I am. Usually what I have to say isn't all that great, but it's meaningful and full of reasoning. At times I feel as if life has nothing in store for me, then other times there are things I can't really explain. Sudden bursts of happiness, for reasons unknown, so people are lucky to see me that way because it is quite rare. My mom doesn't seem to notice anymore or whether or not that I'm happy or not because she's always working. I assume she thinks that I'm happy because ...

Everywhere I go I'm left well enough alone Everyone forgets about me Then I feel Lonely I feel useless, unwanted I'm never wanted What's my use in being here My weakness is my fear My heart, it will quit To be dead will be fit I've finally had it I can't take this You don't understand Bury me in dirt & sand Bury me dead or alive Close my casket, kill the light Kill the martyr Not the coward Alive in my cheap pine box Running out of breath, beating on the top The life that I know...

When my words become my actions My life Ends Up In Fractions When it happens, I won't be here any more You won't see me dragging dreariness through the door Actions I am not afraid to take On his swift Wings, Death I do not forsake When my words become my actions There will be no reactions In front of you or behind, an empty desk You don't care, and neither do the rest Something will change, not for you, but me Tomorrow will be the first day you'll never see me Tonight my life will be in...

I like this short story, it's very well written and composed. There is one thing that I would like to point out though. You shouldn't just introduce items into the middle of your story that weren't mentioned or there before. Take the white dress for instance. In part of your story you mention the white dress and how you don't want to spill the red wine on it. When you describe what your character is wearing, describe it at the beginning, not the middle. I learned this when I first started wri...
This is a very well written poem. I feel that many can relate to this, well mostly everybody that has ever loved anyone can relate to it. It is very well composed, and there seems to be no error in the way it was written, well any that I can see at least. Kudos to you. R. House
Wow!!! I like your way of writing. If you come to my profile and read some of my stuff you will see I’m not much of novelist but I’m more of a poet and a person who likes to write lyrics for songs that will someday be sung by great bands. I do believe you will like my stuff. So if you will please come to my site and read my stuff. I would strongly appreciate it all. Thank you for all of you time and patience for reading all of this. I enjoyed reading what you had to write about. I guess I’ll ...
