Though I consider most of these as independent short stories, they are all part of a longer project that i’m calling The Chasm Tales.
Also, I’d like to give a generic warning that should probably be on all my stories; some might have a problem with the language and violence and on occasion the overall content.
My immediate goal is to find a person or group of people who can follow these stories and offer direct critisism and spot continuity problems.
My long-term goal is to get published. I think that’s a given.
I would also like to extend an invitation for collaborative projects.

Salvation (Christmas Eve) Chapter #1 Broken and alone, Alex walked down the dark wooded road leaving his hope behind. Salvation was a forgotten dream withering on the cold Christmas air. Like his shadow, he was now just an empty shell floating away in decay of tragedy. The hovering crescent moon cast shadows of monsters onto the forest around. Had he not been in such a broken, shock-induced state, his normal fears would have consumed him, here, in the middle of nowhere. It was his body’s natu...

Ken’s Kingdom Falls “Some relieving news now,” The anchor of the locals news program continued. “Both the DieAngst organization and the Worker’s Union have issued statements confirming that they will maintain their treaty despite last months bombings.” Ken slowly opened his eyes. He was surprised to see the news still on; he thought he had slept longer than that. “In other news,” The female anchor began. “Ronald Stalls was executed tonight. You may remember Stalls from last January’s brutal a...

Hold Up It was 11:50 pm and Vicky was closing up. Technically the Fast Money store doesn’t close until midnight but she hadn’t had a customer since seven. Edward sat on the other side of the counter reading his comic book. He was in his third day of training and still hadn’t attempted to do a damn thing. Not even cash a simple two party check. He wouldn’t make it through the easy two-week training period. She found him a bit odd, almost arrogant. She thought how nice it must be to be seventee...

"He didn’t know she owned one of those as well. " The black boxes could use a little more description. Might help you set up the ending better. Watch how you describe sounds though, it can get confusing for readers, a safe bet is to compare it to something that most people are familiar with. All and all i thought it was a funny read.
