I think that this would better go under poems, but I find it to be real of the time period. I assume it is placed in Elizabeth England or Ireland. I think a book could easily be taken out of this one qoute. If you have a mind to. Great luck in your future writings.
I hope my review can be of some help in creating your masterpiece. I think you have a good start although it is very hard to get published in first person, though it is a new trend. I'm not sure that dates in a present time novel are smart since people twenty years from now might pick up your book and want to place it in their present. I think you have a great start. My work is set one-hundred years earlier and is not a time-traveling piece, but we have many of the same themes. I love that little dog. I think that you could expand the place with the seamstress. If the family in which she is staying is prominent the dressmaker will come to her not the other way around.
